German-PKV.de does not itself offer insurance advice, insurance brokerage, financial advice, investment advice, legal advice or tax advice.
German-PKV.de is not an insurance broker, insurance agent or insurance consultant within the meaning of § 34d of the German Trade Regulation Code (GewO).
Our activity is limited to providing general information and calculators and to putting interested persons in contact with independent or specialised cooperation partners. Individual advice, review, recommendation or brokerage of insurance or financial products is provided exclusively by the respective cooperation partner, provided it is legally authorised to do so.
1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to the use of the website german-pkv.de (German-PKV.de). The provider is International Media Ventures LLC (details in the legal notice).
2. Services
German-PKV.de provides general information, calculators and checks on health and long-term care insurance and retirement provision free of charge. At the user's request, we forward an enquiry to a specialised cooperation partner who is legally authorised to advise and broker (usually an insurance broker licensed under § 34d (1) GewO).
German-PKV.de does not itself provide insurance, financial, investment, legal or tax advice and does not itself broker insurance or financial products. An advisory or brokerage contract is concluded exclusively between you and the respective cooperation partner.
3. Costs
Using the website, the calculators and checks and forwarding your enquiry are free of charge for you.
4. Content, calculators and results
All content, calculators and evaluations are for general orientation and reflect the date stated. They do not replace individual advice. Results of calculators and checks are non-binding model calculations based on your entries and general assumptions; laws, statutory values and tariffs may change. We strive for correct and up-to-date content but cannot guarantee completeness, accuracy or timeliness.
5. Users' obligations
Please provide truthful information in enquiries and do not enter health data in forms or free-text fields. Misuse of the website, such as submitting enquiries on behalf of third parties or automated queries, is not permitted.
6. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In the case of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of an essential obligation that makes proper use of the website possible in the first place, and limited to the typically foreseeable damage. The cooperation partners are solely responsible for their services, advice and information. The operators of linked third-party websites are responsible for their content.
7. Copyright
Texts, graphics, calculators and the design of this website are protected by copyright. Reproduction or use beyond private use requires our prior consent. Short quotations with attribution and a link are welcome.
8. Data protection
How we process your data and to whom we pass it on is explained in our privacy policy.
9. Changes and final provisions
We may amend these terms with effect for the future; the version published at the time of use applies. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of your habitual residence remain unaffected. Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
