German-PKV.de is a free information and calculator portal. We explain clearly and with sources what your situation means – and, if you wish, connect you with specialised experts from our partner network.
What German-PKV.de is – and what it is not
German-PKV.de brings together clear guides, calculators and a free check for one specific situation, so you can see within minutes which options exist and what they may cost.
Important: German-PKV.de is not an insurance broker, insurance agent or insurance consultant and does not itself advise or broker. If you wish, we forward your enquiry to a specialised expert from our partner network who is legally authorised to do so (insurance broker licensed under § 34d (1) GewO). We show the pros and cons of every option. If the best solution is public health insurance or changing nothing, we say so.
Facts with sources
All figures come from statutes, ministries, associations, insurer documents or published tests – with the date they refer to. We label forecasts as such.
No health questions
Our checks and calculators never ask for health data. Calculators run only in your browser.
Specialised partner experts
You only receive personal advice if you want it – from experts licensed under § 34d GewO who specialise in the topic.
